STEAM After School Program

Students are using LEGO EV3 Mindstorm Robotics Kit. They assemble various robotic builds and control the robot wirelessly through an app using block coding or Python.

Students also use LEGO Spike Prime Robotics Kits.

Science & Engineer Fair 2022

MUSD Science & Engineer Fair

Suva Intermediate School placed 2nd among all Intermediate Schools in the district at the MUSD Science and Engineering Fair 2022 hosted at the Applied Technology Center (ATC). SUI submitted four entries to this year's fair. Three of SUI's entries were from the area of Computer Science/Engineering and one entry was from Science specifically. SUI students worked on their projects either at home or during the STEAM After School Program (T,W,Th from 3-5 in Room C-12). The robotics used were

LEGO MINDSTORM EV3, LEGO SPIKE Prime, and C-STEM Linkbot.

Anahi Delgado took second place with a robot called MAILBOT. Her robot was created using Linkbot and delivered mail and other small items to people or any desired destination.
